Ingredients
– 1 x 250ml cup of Ruby Spice.
– 3 Oranges.
– 1 Bottle of Red Wine (Cabernet Sauvignon, or Pinot Noir).
– 1 Cinnamon Stick.
– 3 Star Anise.
– 8 Cloves.
– 1/4 cup of granulated sugar.
Method
– Squeeze half an orange into an empty pot.
– Slice the rest of your oranges into smaller pieces and add to pot.
– Decant 750ml of red wine into pot.
– Add your cinnamon stick, star anise and cloves.
– Add a 1/4 cup of granulated sugar.
– Add 1 cup (250ml) of Ruby Spice to the mix.
– Place your pot on the stove at a low temperature for +/- 20 minutes.
– Remember to stir frequently and ensure it doesn’t boil.
Use a ladle to serve your Ruby Glühwein and enjoy!
